Joshua Jacobs has two passions: music and helping others. His love of music started back in elementary school when he started playing trumpet. It didn’t take long for Josh to purchase a Walkman and listen to his two favorite artists, The Killers and Fat Boy Slim, on repeat for hours on end. Still, Josh wasn’t what you would call a true music ‘enthusiast’ until the year 2008, when he attended Monster Massive in Los Angeles, and had his mind completely blown by the EDM scene. The rest, as they say, is history. Ever since, Josh has immersed himself in the musical world. Now an avid music blogger and attendee to every major music show he can afford to see, Josh hopes to spread his love of music and his voice to the rest of the world.

Quote of the Week: 8/8/11

“There is always room at the top.” -Daniel Webster This week’s quote is short and sweet. Life can be discouraging sometimes, especially when you’ve worked hard to get where you’re at and still don’t seem to be making any progress. It’s important to always remember to never let life get you down, and to keep […]Read Post ›

Quote of the Week: 8/1/11

“What is understood doesn’t need to be discussed.” -Anonymous I decided to be slightly mysterious with this week’s quote, mainly because my friend posted this on Facebook and it immediately intrigued me. I’ve been contemplating how to analyze this quote for close to a week, and still am struggling to come up with a concrete […]Read Post ›

How to Make, and KEEP Friends

I wanted to start this post with a little story about myself. Before I begin, though, I don’t want sympathy (not that I deserve it anyway), but rather I want to explain the experiences I went through in order to get to where I am today. It was the way the first 18 years of […]Read Post ›

Quote of the Week: 7/25/11

“God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.” – Billy Currington, country music extraordinaire Alright, before you jump to conclusions, I am NOT pushing religion or drinking on you, so pump the brakes. My mom uses this quote, and it makes sense to me, someone who does believe in God and who likes […]Read Post ›

Making the World More PEACEful

Normally, I would be asleep right now, especially because the drive from SLO to Thousand Oaks, CA is a long one by yourself. However, on this drive I was contemplating many things, when I all at once had an epiphany about something! A vision came to me of a world that was at peace. It was […]Read Post ›

How too Lurn Reel Good

Intelligence is a funny thing. In life there are many different forms of intelligence. There’s the measurement of your IQ; there’s attaining a college undergrad degree, graduate degree, or doctorate; and there’s even the categories of “street smarts” and “book smarts.” ‘Street smart’ is supposed to relate to practical knowledge or common sense; how to interact with […]Read Post ›

Quote of the Week: 7/18/11

“Keep your head in the clouds and your feet on the ground.” -Unknown This week’s quote may seem cheesy and overused, or maybe even confusing, but it means a lot to me. One thing that most people would say about my personality is that I dream big: I always have ideas of grandeur for my […]Read Post ›

Quote of the Week: 7/11/11

“There are 3 kinds of people in the world, the wills, the won’ts, and the can’ts. The first accomplish everything; the second oppose everything; the third fail in everything.” -Eclectic Magazine This quote has always been one of my favorites, because it helps to keep me positive no matter what trials I am facing. It’s […]Read Post ›

Finding Your Inner Tyler Durden

“I want you to hit me as hard as you can.” Who wouldn’t be crapping their pants if someone said that to them? It’s most likely that the majority of people would. Why? Because they are AFRAID. No, this post is not about how to start a Fight Club or even how to fight. I […]Read Post ›

You Have 4 Minutes to Change Someone’s Life

In dedication to my most amazing mother’s birthday, I have decided to write about the motto which she lives her life by. But first, you must know more about my Mom and the reasons she is so amazing; which are what even inspired me to start this blog. Debra Badger (as she is known now), […]Read Post ›
