“That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”
-Steve Jobs
Granted, Steve was describing focus and simplicity when it comes to products, but I think there is a deeper meaning. What he says about getting the point of simplicity is crucial. When you can ‘trim the fat’ and eliminate waste and complexities in your life, then you can focus on what is truly important in your life. Use that lesson today, and start getting to the root of your problems. Once you do that, you can eradicate them one by one until all you have left is what really matters to you.
great advice period.
