Quote of the Day: 10/26/11

“Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”

-Mark Twain

To be able to do right is sometimes a difficult thing. It can mean going against what your friends want, what your family wants, and quite often, even what YOU want. To be able to do right, however, you must first define what ‘doing right’ means to you. It cannot be a situational judgment. If you want to be viewed as someone who does right, than you have to make it clear to yourself and to others what right is. For most people, it means don’t lie, steal, cheat, or kill. Some will add to that list; while some will take away or exchange. Whatever it is for you, just make sure you are consistent; that way you can gratify those who also do right… and blow those who don’t away (with your character).
