“Nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy. Remember that.”
-Nicholas Sparks
True words from Mr. Sparks. It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional basketball player, the president of the United States, a stay-at-home mom, or the guy working the drive-thru at McDonald’s; if you’re doing it to get somewhere or because it’s what you believe in, then it’s worth it. If it’s worth it, then it’s probably not easy, whatever you may be doing. That may seem somewhat cryptic, but all I mean is that every time you embark on a journey, and take on a task, if it seems difficult, then chances are that the juice is worth the squeeze. Rarely does the juice ever get poured into your glass on its own. Without the effort, we can never fully appreciate the reward.
