I think this is fairly clear to most, but just in case, I’ll discuss this quote briefly. A lot of times, men will over-think the relationship or even ‘crush’ they are involved in. Usually this means that guys will start to think they are getting ‘too deep’ with the girl, or she is falling in love when the man is not. Either way, those are never the details to focus on. The criteria for dating someone should be more simplistic, so as to not use one time mistakes or fickle items to stop liking someone. Sparks gives us the answer to this criteria dilemma with his quote above: ask yourself if you like her, ask yourself if she makes you happy, and ask yourself if you feel like you know her; if the answer to each is yes, she’s a keeper.
